PNST: in the service of blood, in the service of life.

The National Blood Transfusion Safety Program (PNST) is a central directorate of Haiti’s Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP). Established in 2004, it coordinates and secures blood donation nationwide through a network of 25 transfusion centers and posts across the 10 departments.

Mission

Ensure the availability of blood and its components, in sufficient quantity and quality, for the entire Haitian population, at the right time.

How to Donate

Donate blood in 4 simple steps.

One hour of your time is enough. The PNST welcomes you and supports you at every step.

    Welcome and registration

    Medical questionnaire, ID, creation of your confidential file.

    Medical interview

    A professional assesses your eligibility to donate, in complete confidentiality.

    Collection

    450 ml in about 10 minutes. Sterile single-use equipment.

    Rest and snack

    A few minutes to recover before leaving, well hydrated.
